Fact-checked
Figures come from official sources such as BNM, KWSP, LHDN and the Ministry of Finance. Rates change, so we re-check them before posting.
Personal finance for Malaysia
Duit Poket turns the money questions Malaysians really ask into clear, fact-checked posts. Every day. Free. No hype, no hard sell.
Duit, dijelaskan dengan mudah.
The gap
Malaysians ask local questions. How much can I take out of KWSP? What can I claim on LHDN tax? Is that investment a scam? Duit Poket answers those, in plain Malay and English, with a worked example you can check yourself.
What we do
Figures come from official sources such as BNM, KWSP, LHDN and the Ministry of Finance. Rates change, so we re-check them before posting.
Each post is a short swipe: a clear hook, a worked example labelled Contoh, and one thing to do next. Nothing to decode.
No stock picks, no signals, no broker links. Right now we are not selling anything. We are earning trust first.
How it works
Each week we scan which Malaysian finance posts people save and share the most.
A draft follows a fixed style guide, with figures taken from official sources.
A quality gate scores it for usefulness, credibility and platform rules. A post that fails is held, not published.
One post a day goes out on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts and Threads.
A weekly report shows what worked, and the next posts follow it.
Rules are set by a human and enforced by the system. The pipeline runs on scheduled Claude agents, so it keeps going without anyone at a keyboard. The brand is faceless by design, and there is no AI voiceover.
Traction, early days
Numbers as of 7 Oct 2026. Post count comes from our publish logs. Views, reactions, reposts and engagement come from Threads post insights for the post of 6 Oct 2026 (emergency fund), read through Buffer. These are early numbers for one post, not an average, and we will update them as the audience grows.
Timeline
We studied 113 Malaysian finance posts on TikTok and sorted them into 15 topic areas.
The first seven-slide post went out the same week the plan was set.
One post a day, with each format sent to the platform it suits.
A draft that failed our checks was held, not published. One Threads post reached 39,167 views.
Each platform now posts at its own best time, tracked on a status calendar built from our publish logs.
duitpoket.fun goes live.
Next plan
Dates marked Planned are intentions, not promises. We will update this page as they change.
One useful post a day, education only, nothing for sale. Every Saturday we scan what Malaysians are saving, and every Sunday a report shows what worked. Next up is a Budget 2027 explainer on 10 Oct, using official Ministry of Finance figures.
Starting with an emergency-fund calculator, because that topic travelled furthest. More free calculators and checklists follow what readers ask for.
A Bahasa Malaysia money explainer built on the Claude API. It would answer from the same fact sheet and follow the same education-only rules, and point to official sources.
Our rules
A new post every day. Questions, corrections or partnerships: write to us.
